breeding Tennessee Walking horses & Pomeranians

Thank you for stopping by and visiting our web site.

We live in the beautiful Upper Peninsula of Michigan. All of our lives we have enjoyed horses. In the last 15 plus years we have had the pleasure of raising, training and showing the Tennessee Walking Horse. We also raise Pomeranian's and have two Dobermans that pretty much think they own the farm. We have three children that were raised trail riding and showing horses.

How we got started in the Walking Horse Industry? My wife and I had purchased a half Walker, half Saddlebred gelding and when we broke him and started riding he was doing something we had never experienced before, "The Running Walk". With a little research and some help from some Walking Horse friends we knew this was the breed for us. That was more than 15 years ago.

We now own and enjoy 25 Tennessee Walkers which includes a stallion. We are members of TWHBEA, WHAM, WWHA, NSSHA, SSHBEA, RHA and the KMHA.

The Walking Horse is a fairly new breed to Upper Michigan so we have been working hard to promote the breed in this area through open houses, trail rides, horse shows, 4-H programs and letting people try the "glide ride" on our horses. We have shown in speed events, Western Pleasure and English with our horses and have done well against other breeds. We welcome all visitors to experience our smooth and versatile breed.

The Walking Horse in Upper Michigan is growing with great "strides" thanks to their great disposition, trainability and versatility. Stop in anytime and see our horses and take a ride.
